Wenner-Gren Fellowship in Anthropology and Black Experiences

At the end of the fellowship year, the School for Advanced Research, which administers this award, will invite you to reflect on your experiences.

1) You will participate in an exit interview with staff from the School for Advanced Research. In this informal conversation, you will help the staff learn learn how to improve the fellowship program and discuss the progress you have made on your project and the trajectory of your work. You’ll also have a chance to share tips that might be useful for the next fellow.

2) You will also write a letter, addressed to the president and chair of the School for Advance Research’s board of directors, summarizing your fellowship year. You’ll have a chance to discuss the progress you have made on your manuscript, your next career steps, and anything else you would like to share. These letters are usually 2-3 pages in length.
