Early-career scholars often face structural barriers to translating their anthropological research into film, audio, and other creative public media. Through the newly updated Fejos Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Wenner-Gren Foundation supports innovative multimodal projects that amplify the impact of anthropology beyond print scholarship. Join Wenner-Gren staff for a conversation about the goals of the Fejos Postdoctoral Fellowship, what makes a strong application, and how this program supports ethically grounded, experimentally rich public-facing anthropology. We will discuss eligibility, funding (up to $40,000 for a 9-month fellowship), and the kinds of projects the Foundation is eager to support—from documentary film to podcasts and video essays to other creative formats involving sight, sound, and/or touch. We look forward to meeting prospective applicants and answering questions about whether the Fejos is the right fit for their work.
