“Healing the Earth with Guarani people” is a project that systematizes ethnographic experiences carried out in dialogue with the Guarani peoples living on the border between Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraguay, where relationships of otherness with the Earth and its forces in Tekoha Potrero Guassu Nhandeva are identified. The theme of the jara, the owners of the beings that make up Guarani territoriality, is explored through a study of social spaces of the forest (the countryside, and in the backyards and courtyards of houses) by focusing on ethnomedicine and bush medicines (ka’aguy pohan) and women’s knowledge (kunha arandu). Such knowledges configure Guarani cosmopolitics as an ecopoetics of care for bodies and the Earth. Through video workshops, we promote intergenerational dialogue and women’s knowledge production. We bring this knowledge back to Indigenous schools in the form of booklets and educational videos.
