Proposal Writing for the Wenner-Gren Foundation: Fellowship in Anthropology and Black Experiences

The Fellowship in Anthropology and Black Experiences supports scholars whose work draws on Black studies, critical race studies, diasporic Africana studies, the insights of communities of color, and other sources of inspiration growing out of global Black experiences to advance new lines of anthropological scholarship. The nine-month fellowship provides recipients with the time and resources to complete significant writing projects at a critical juncture in their careers.

Join Wenner-Gren Foundation staff for an introduction to the fellowship. We will discuss the program’s goals, eligibility requirements, application process, and evaluation criteria, and offer guidance on preparing a strong application.
